Promised smoothie update

Smoothies taste spectacular. They are also amazingly healthy for you, and so simple. I use fruit + soymilk + occasionally soy powder for an extra boost of protein. They are a hearty meal + they taste like candy. If you just ate those, brocolli + a multi vitamin for the rest of your life I assume you'd be a healthy, happy camper. They give tons of fiber as well, plus a dose of fresh fruit, and of course protein. I usually choose raspberries because they are naturally a high fiber, low sugar food. Here is my dessert version (added sweeteners) for a tasty smoothie.

Vegan Raspberry Smoothie:

Ingredients:
1 c. frozen raspberries
1/4 - 3/4 c. unsweetened soymilk (depending on the consistancy you prefer)
2 tbs. maple syrup

Directions:
1. Chop raspberries in blender. 2. Pour in soymilk 'til smooth. 3. Add sweetener to taste. 4. Serve.

It's extraordinary. You can always replace the soy w/ dairy milk if you aren't vegan + prefer the taste.
